Drawing focuses attention, enhances memory, and continually reveals new insights. The unifying thread of this project is to create drawings that serve as mnemonics and compressions of time, physical space, relationships, and sensation. When gathered together, these become a series of “small multiples” that speak to one another and reveal subtle differences and unseen connections.

These drawings are the result of a solo excursion to mainland Greece over 10 days in 2024. On this trip I focused equally on classical architecture and figurative sculpture found in museums, utilizing watercolor markers and fine point sharpies.
