Why study the figure?
We live in a time in which figuration in painting and sculpture is experiencing a global resurgence. Historically, the figure has been central to monumental places. An understanding of the design problems of the figure, such as anatomy and form, is a means by which architects can begin to contemplate a response to this cultural change. Our team includes figurative artists and sculptors.
