Located in Denver, Colorado, the Still Museum is one of the foremost single-artist institutions in the world. The building is a 27,500 sq ft collection of galleries, conservation spaces, and archives.

Securing the commission and developing the concept required extensive research into the life and philosophy of the artist, the cities and landscapes in which Still lived, and their influence on his body of work. These insights were folded into the design process and shared with the clients through presentation books, concept models, and other visualizations required for the international design competition.

Upon completion, new work was undertaken to document the building, its material expression, and synthesis of space, light, and art that make the viewing experience extraordinary. These were compiled into a book of images and essays.
